The Market
At the Market you can take a break from the rides and have something to eat. It is an open air place with many stands selling things like bread, jewelry, clothes, and other Fertile Crescent related items. There are several restaurants also. You can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all based on the Fertile Crescent. There are three sections to the market; Israel, Mesopotamia, and Egypt. In Israel they sell ceramic, jewels, and metal. From the Mesopotamian section, you can buy cloth, oil, grain, and precious jewels and stones. In Egypt there is gold, papyrus, linen, and lapis lazuli. When you enter the restaurant in Israel each person will be given a loaf of bread in accordance to the Code of the Stranger. You can choose wheat or barley bread. After you can choose a stew of legumes like lentils. Along with that there is grapes, figs, and olives to eat with your bread. If you want, you can add goat meat to the stew. If you decide to go to Egypt, they serve bread for everyone and beer for the adults. After that they give you the choice of fish or meat with chopped onion. They also serve an assortment of vegetables along with the meal. The final section, Mesopotamia starts with a barley based bread. Then they serve a portion of yogurt with soup. To finish it off, there is a variety of fruit like grapes, figs, plums, apricots, and apples.
